About Maria Rossing: Maria Rossing is a Clinical Research Associate Professor specializing in genomic medicine. She is affiliated with the Centre of Diagnostic Investigation at Rigshospitalet and Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

Her research focuses on cancer biomarkers, hereditary bleeding disorders, and advanced diagnostic methodologies. She has contributed to the study of homologous recombination deficiency testing, molecular subtyping in breast cancer, and variant classification of breast cancer associated genetic variants. Rossing has also participated in national and international breast cancer studies within the DBCG and ENIGMA - consortia, as well as the newly DAHEAN aiming to improve diagnostics for hereditary bleeding disorders. Her work spans from fundamental cell-based research to the integration of genomic medicine, with a constant focus on diagnostics and expanding access to targeted treatments.

The Centre of Diagnostic Investigation is a hub of six highly specialised departments dedicated to laboratory analyses, imaging diagnostics, infection hygiene, blood products, and medical advisory services.
