Nordsjællands Hospital
Research at NOH is driven by strong interdisciplinary collaborations, with initiatives led by both physicians and professional bachelors. The Department of Diagnostic Imaging, including Radiology and Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, plays a crucial role in research, osteoporosis, dose care, oncology and interdisciplinary research such as chronical fatigue and dizziness.
To foster continuous innovation, the hospital allocates 1% of its annual budget to clinical research, funding joint research positions, post-docs, PhD scholarships, and project grants, ensuring the integration of research into clinical practice. NOH also has a dedicated research unit, led by Thea Kølsen Fischer, who heads the large-scale INFLUENZER project, focusing on infectious disease research.
The hospital follows a structured research strategy, emphasizing clinical impact, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation to enhance patient treatment and healthcare efficiency.
