About Charlotte Vermehren: Charlotte Vermehren is the Unit Director of Clinical Pharmacy and Research, respectively. Besides this, Charlotte is employed as Associate Professor at the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, University of Copenhagen, specializing in clinical pharmacy, polypharmacy and rational Pharmacotherapy. Her research focuses on optimizing medication use, addressing polypharmacy, and advancing patient-centered pharmaceutical care. She has contributed to studies on medication reviews in primary care, pharmacogenetics, and deprescribing strategies, particularly for elderly patients living in Nursing Homes and patients with dementia. Additionally, her work includes exploring biomarkers for personalized medicine and improving evidence-based drug use in pediatrics through therapeutic committees. Her engagement extends to organizing workshops and conferences aimed at enhancing clinical pharmacy practices.
