Network access for PC/mobile devices and software

The Capital Region of Denmark - access for external users

If you need access to the region's data and systems from a location outside the regional network - for example, browser access to email and calendar, Epic, the intranet, Virtual Workspace, and ServiceNow (where you submit cases to the region's IT department, e.g. equipment orders or error reporting) - there are several options, as shown in the table below.

All options require that you are first registered as a Region H user.

Access to specific systems is granted by the department’s CBAS requester, see User registration.

Ad 1 - Quick guide to the Entrust IdentityGuard (SEA) system:

• You must be registered in the region’s systems with a personal username and password.

• You must register in the Entrust IdentityGuard system before you can use it.

Register in the Entrust IdentityGuard system here. You must be connected to the Capital Region of Denmark’s network to complete the registration.

• You need to install an app called Entrust Identity. The app can only be installed on one device – it is recommended to choose a device you use frequently throughout the day. The app works on Windows PCs, Apple iOS, and Android. You will therefore need to have either a mobile phone or a PC with you when logging in to the solution.

• When you log into the Entrust IdentityGuard system, you will be guided through the setup process, including how to download the app. You can use either a personal device or a device owned by the Capital Region of Denmark.

Then you can read a guide on Secure External Access (SEA) on the region’s intranet.

Access to software not included in the region’s standard package

The region’s software shop includes a range of programmes that have been pre-approved by CIMT.

If the programme that you need is not available in the Software shop, you can create a request for software installation. Please notice that this can take a while.

Find a guide for the software shop on the region's intranet.
