Document sharing and digital collaboration platform

If you need the ability to share non-personal data (messages/chats, task management, documents, reports, etc.) on a collaboration platform with automatic version control, the following options are available to you:

Team site in Microsoft Teams

A Team site is created either by the DTU collaborator according to DTU’s procedures or by the regional collaborator according to the region’s procedures:

  • DTU uses Microsoft Teams and allows the owners of individual Teams to invite non-DTU users into Teams owned by DTU.
  • DTU also offers all DTU users the option to use Zoom for organising meetings and online conferences.
  • The department may have other document and digital collaboration platforms they have chosen to use independently.
  • Document sharing must follow the rules and guidelines agreed upon with the department you are collaborating with.
  • Team site according to the region’s procedure

Simple document sharing in folder structure - the Region

If you need a simpler way to share documents (without automatic version control) via a mapped drive, the following option is available in the region:

  • Department’s P-drive: For documents shared between users within the department.
  • Hospital’s V-drive: For documents shared between multiple departments.
  • Region’s R-drive: For documents shared between users across hospitals.
  • L-drive is the region’s drive for folders where access logging is performed for users writing to the files. Used, for example, for pseudonymised data in research projects.

Closed folders can be created on all of these drives for named users. They are requested via the CIMT Service Portal. After setup, the folder owner will be able to add and remove users independently.

Read the guide on the region’s intranet.
