TUH Skylab
TUH Skylab brings technology development and innovation closer to the clinic. As a physical makerspace at Rigshospitalet, it brings together engineers, clinicians, and students to develop, test, and refine new healthcare technologies in collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.
By combining technological expertise with clinical needs and insights, TUH Skylab helps transform ideas into prototypes and solutions more quickly, creating value for patients, the healthcare system, and society. TUH Skylab is a pilot project under DTU Skylab and part of TUH - Technical University Hospital.
TUH - Technical University Hospital is a collaboration between DTU, the Capital Region of Denmark, and Region Zealand. The partnership develops technological solutions based on concrete challenges and clinical needs within hospitals. Through education, innovation, research, and treatment, TUH contributes to better health outcomes for patients, the healthcare system, and society.
TUH Skylab serves as a community and event space with room for courses, workshops, and events.
Innovation events are regularly held in collaboration with partners, along with courses organized through DTU educational programmes and DTU Skylab initiatives.
